Vivian Video Wiki

Medieval Goochies was the first attempt at an RPG by Brandon Vivian, but the plot was disjointed and strange, and the combat extremely basic. It was the largest and most complete project for a long time, despite this. Development took place from July 6, 2007 to August 12, 2007. It was inspired by the comic of the same name.

There was some effort in 2012 to release the game on vivianvideo.com, after patching a few bugs, but even though a version was created, it was never released.

The project was considered officially abandoned on April 9, 2017.

Plot[]

The hero is hired by the king to defeat all the evil fuzz that is appearing throughout the kingdom, and to discover the source and stop it. He screws around in town for a bit first, then gets lost in a forest, then goes sledding. He does eventually save a village in the mountains from evil snow fuzz, but then gets captured by the Dark Goochies and brought as prisoner to Darkymandel, which he must then escape.
