Journey Into the Mines was an action platformer game, started on September 18, 2008. The development period lasted until June 20, 2009 when it went on hiatus. It was arguably the game farthest along in development before going into hiatus.

Journey Into the Mines was a game in which you played the role of a miner named Jim who had struck gold in his backyard. Upon digging further down, he found himself in an elaborate cavern system in which he would spend the rest of the game.
